Make your car part of history!

“A journey is not necessarily measured in kilometres, but in emotions”

(Aimée Lafougeaire)

There are rare occasions when time stands still, when mechanical beauty becomes emotion, and when every car tells a story.

To mark its 10th edition, the Concours d’Élégance Suisse invites you to celebrate the 99th anniversary of a heritage born in Geneva in 1927. For nearly a century, this event has brought different eras together by showcasing exceptional cars, living testaments to a way of life and timeless refinement.

We shall have the immense privilege of welcoming you and your car on 20 and 21 June 2026 in the majestic setting of the Château de Coppet, the former home of Madame de Staël, nestled between a century-old park and the sparkling shores of Lake Geneva. A setting where elegance, culture and heritage come together naturally.

This edition pays tribute to one of the most enchanting decades in automotive history: the 1930s. An era when lines were elongated, when Art Deco elevated materials, and when technical daring was already sketching out the future.

We will also be celebrating the centenary of Carrozzeria Touring, a hallmark of exceptional craftsmanship. Alongside these tributes, cars from 1920 to 1990 will form a living tapestry, elegantly staged across the decades.

More than just an event, we offer you an experience.

Saturday – The Carousel of Elegance
An invitation to travel. A carefully crafted itinerary through exceptional landscapes and villages, punctuated by intimate stops. Eight experiences, each a sensory interlude, will punctuate the day: flavours, sounds, encounters… The pleasure of driving blends here with the art of living, under the admiring gaze of enthusiasts.

Saturday evening – The Inauguration
An exceptional evening awaits you for an exclusive preview: the rebirth of the Beau Rivage in Nyon. Between lake and light, this legendary venue regains its splendour to offer you a moment suspended in time, between contemporary elegance and memories of bygone glories.

Sunday – The Competition
In the tranquillity of the grounds of Coppet Castle, the cars are unveiled one by one. Attentive gazes, precise movements, silent admiration… Then comes the final parade, elegant and moving, like a final tribute to the genius of the design and the passion of those who bring them to life.

To make your stay truly special, our hotel partners have some special treats in store for you. And because every detail counts, we’ll also help you with the logistics of your car, offering bespoke transport and storage solutions.

Treat yourself to the privilege of taking part in this unique celebration.

Selection Committee

Comité de sélection

The Concours d’Elegance Suisse now stands out by introducing an innovative selection and classification system that ensures greater fairness in the results and in the winner of the Best of Show. Here, the jury will not have to compare pre-war and post-war cars!  The cars in the competition will all belong to the same era, thereby highlighting the full richness of the style and design of that period.  This will allow the jury to  compare like with like, exactly as was done in those days.

The main theme of this 10th anniversary will be  ‘The 1930s: from Art Deco to Streamline’

Naturally, several exhibitions will also feature other icons from the Century of the Automobile:

Carrozzeria Touring: 100 Years of Style and Innovation

The Century of the Automobile: the 1920s, 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, 1980s and 1990s

Supercars: Limitless

As every year, the Selection Committee will pay particular attention to cars with a history linked to Switzerland (Swiss bodywork, sold new in Switzerland, presented at the Geneva International Motor Show, etc.), or cars that have belonged to the same family.

The Authenticity and Elegance Jury

The Concours d'Elégance Suisse pays tribute to the style, mechanics and very purpose of the automobile.  The jury’s assessment therefore goes beyond aesthetics and must take into account the car’s function: that of being driven.  This assessment will be taken into account by the jury so as not to penalise owners who continue to drive their cars.   Indeed, ‘concours condition’, often regarded as a selection criterion, should not refer to the cleanliness or perfection of a car’s restoration. It is the intrinsic qualities of the car that will be considered, particularly in light of its age and the normal use to which such cars should be put.

Consequently, the Concours employs an Authenticity Jury, which will judge the cars according to strict assessment criteria that take into account respect for the authenticity and history of the car presented.  The aim of this approach is to encourage preservation close to the original condition, whether the cars have been restored or not.

The Elegance Jury, for its part, will assess the beauty of the bodywork, its significance in automotive history and the elegance of the competing crews.

These two judging panels will work together, under the guidance of the jury chairman and the competition chairman, to award category prizes to the most authentic and spectacular cars. The Concours' ‘Best of Show’ prize will be awarded to one of the cars that has won its category. The ‘Best of Sound’ prize will be awarded to the car with the most inspiring and captivating engine sound.
